IT Governance Manager Full Time

A global company is looking for an experienced IT Governance Manager for their office in Tokyo.

The Role:

• Verify IT department activities are in compliance with internal controls
• Collaborate with the Risk Management, Internal Audit, and other regulatory entities in the design, review, documentation and testing
• Report to IS Management team with the governance shortcomings, risks and recommendations.
• Liaison between IS and risk & compliance.
• Drive a robust metrics and process culture across information technology functions.

Required Skills:

• Substantial experience in IT including experience in development & delivery
• Experience in IT system auditing or controls compliance in a regulated environment
• Experience in supporting, maintaining governance and developing process / metrics and implementing the same
• Knowledge of Governance frameworks such as Control Objectives for Information Technology (COBIT), International Organization for Standardization (IOS) and their application to information technology organizations internal control design, testing, and assessment.
• Japanese Language Skills: Fluent
• English Language Skills: Business
