R&D Software Engineer Full Time

Our client is a global IT vendor with sizable operations in Japan. They are looking for a researcher for their R&D Team to help develop downstream products

The Role:

• Responsible for contributing to concept creation, technical solution development, and system prototyping
• Focus on work User Interface and Human Interface Device solutions
• Algorithm design and software implementation to verify technical feasibility and demonstrate value / advantage
• Generating intellectual property

Required Skills: 

• Ph.D. or Master’s degree in computer science
• 3+ years of research experience as a researcher in academia or industry in user interface, input device, computer vision or recognition areas
• Strong abilities in algorithm design for sensor data science, computer vision, pattern/object recognition, machine learning or deep learning
• Experience of using modeling tools (e.g. MATLAB, Open CV) and knowledge of computer languages (C/C++/C#, Java)
• Japanese Language Skills: Basic
• English Language Skills: Business
• Chinese Language Skills: An advantage
